ADJUSTMENTS/ MANIPULATION
The term "adjustment" refers to the specific manipulation chiropractors apply to vertebrae (bones of the spine) and other joints (wrists, elbows, feet, etc) that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. The objective of the chiropractic adjustment is to reduce a condition of the joints called a subluxation. Subluxations may be the reason that your joints move with pain or not move with strength. Removing these subluxations with adjustments assist in allowing the joints and spine to work correctly, with an increased range of motion, improved function and without pain! Only chiropractors have been specifically trained to remove subluxations by adjusting your spine and joints and thus, provide the benefits of relief and health through this methodology.
